BeOS was an operating system developed by Be Inc. It was conceived for the company’s BeBox personal computer which was released in 1995, and it was great at multitasking, with a very characteristic graphical user interface. It lives on as Haiku OS, an open-source reimplementation, which has been in development… forever.
