SliMP3

The SliMP3 was a hardware player originally made by Slim Devices, Inc. in 2005, and later (many revisions later, in fact) acquired by Logitech.

I have a first-generation model that is easily, hands down, the best value for money I ever paid for an player of any kind, and that has been repeatedly pressed back into service.

The VFD display was actually quite lovely
